Cross Country Skiing
Maple Corner Farm has been a working family farm since 1812, it has a friendly atmosphere that the whole family can enjoy. The farm is located in the foothills of the Berkshires and has an elevation of 1,400 feet. A large ski warm-up area with beginner trails is located right behind the ski lodge. There are 20 kilometers of marked ski trails from beginner to expert, machine groomed for traditional and skating styles. We also have 10 km of snowshoe trails. Ski equipment and snowshoe rentals are available for children through adult. Our high elevation gives us an advantage as the temperature is usually 5- 10 degrees cooler than the valley. This means that we can have snow while the valley may have rain.
The rental shop has over 200 sets of skis and over 40 pairs of snowshoes for children through adult. Rentals are interchangeable at no additional charge.
Ski lessons are available in group or private. There is also a special starter package available. Ski lessons are only on Saturday and Sunday at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00 and 2:00.
The Ski Lodge has a cozy wood fire to warm up and relax by after a long day of skiing. The kitchen is open offering breakfast sandwiches, soup, chowder, chili and sandwiches for eat in or take out.
Sorry due to insurance reasons pets are NOT ALLOWED at the farm.
Full Moon Night
Come out and enjoy a night of fun and recreation by the full moon. Both skiers and snowshoers and welcome.
There is no Full Moon Tour planned for January
